The G-Tube

For those of you interested in seeing what this thing looks like, here is a picture:

The bottle nipple at the base is to keep it coming straight up out of her stomach, so the site can heal around the tube properly. In a few weeks, the tube coming out will be replaced with what they call a button, which will be more flush with her skin. It will make clothing much easier to wear. We just think she never wanted to be disconnected from her umbilical cord!!
